Lakers News: Lakers Christmas Day Sleeved Uniforms Revealed

The NBA has begun the practice of debuting specialized jerseys for all of the teams playing on Christmas Day, especially those who play in the marquee games on ABC. This season will continue that trend as the NBA has just revealed what some teams will be wearing on Christmas, as Uniwatch first reported:

I am not a fan of sleeved uniforms and these jerseys do nothing to change my mind. It is a little confusing as to why the NBA decided to make the two most prominent colors on the Lakers jersey white and grey. There is very little purple and gold to be seen on this, which just doesn’t make sense as those colors are iconic.

The fact that there are only logos on the front, with no team name, makes them seem more like the simple T-Shirts you can buy from any store.

After the revealing of the Lakers’ ‘Hollywood Nights’ jerseys, which stand to be one of the best alternate black jerseys of any NBA team, these jerseys fall flat in comparison to those masterpieces. Hopefully, the Lakers play on that day doesn’t do the same.
