The purple and gold has been a staple of the Los Angeles Lakers since the team has been in Los Angeles. It is a unique color scheme that no franchise has tried to emulate.
In the last few years however, the alternate jersey has become a staple of NBA teams and even the Lakers have their white uniforms they wear anytime they have a Sunday home game.
The Lakers have now gotten another new look as they tweeted out a picture of their latest uniform entitled ‘Hollywood Nights’ via the Los Angeles Lakers via Twitter:

In a word, awesome. There is just something about black that looks so intimidating and these jerseys are no exception. I don’t know how the Lakers could possibly improve on these jerseys and I can not wait until they unveil these masterpieces on the court.
