According to the Lakers PR, Metta World Peace underwent successful surgery on Thursday on his left knee. World Peace, who suffered the injury on Monday night against the Golden State Warriors, is expected to miss the remainder of the season with the injured knee.
The Lakers won their first game without World Peace on Wednesday when they defeated the Timberwolves 120-117.
