Last night in the Lakers’ victory over the Brooklyn Nets, forward Pau Gasol went down in the fourth quarter with an apparent foot injury. Following the game, Gasol revealed that he heard a pop in his foot and required crutches to leave the arena. After getting the MRI results on Wednesday afternoon, it’s been announced that Gasol will indeed be out for quite awhile.

Gasol hopes to return before the end of the season, but it will most likely be a difficult rehab process as well.
