Lakers News: Steve Nash Doesn’t Know When Howard Will Make Decision

Steve Nash and Dwight HowardWith the Lakers wrapping up their meeting with free agent center Dwight Howard, guard Steve Nash was very outspoken about how the proceedings went down.

Joining Nash in the meeting with Howard was Mitch Kupchak, Kobe Bryant, Jim Buss and TWC executives as it sounds like the Lakers brass believe the meeting was very productive.

After the meeting, Nash spoke to Mark Medina of the LA Daily News:

True to their word, the Lakers were the first and last team that met with Howard as he finished his round of meetings this afternoon by meeting with the Mavericks contingent before the Lakers.

Howard has indicated that he’d like to make his decision before July 10, the first day free agents can officially sign, but he’s been known to change his mind from time-to-time.

The Lakers promised surprises during their meeting and it was reported that a TV show centered around Howard would be discussed in the meeting.

Howard’s decision will tie up the Lakers off-season, and until he gives Kupchak and Buss his choice, the Lakers and the fans will be holding their collective breathes.
