Lakers’ Quin Snyder Interviewed by Bobcats

Los Angeles Lakers assistant coach Quin Synder has been interviewed by the Charlotte Bobcats for a possible head coaching position. The Bobcats fired Paul Silas shortly after the season ended and they have been searching for a new man ever since.

Snyder has been a nice piece to the Lakers’ bench, but even he would like to one day become a head coach.

“It’s an honor to be considered,” Snyder said. “I’m loving being a Laker, but I hope to have an opportunity to be a head coach someday.”

The Bobcats set an NBA record for the worst winning percentage in a season, with a putrid 7-59 stand. Snyder may be a nice, young coach, but he will have his hands full if he becomes head coach.

At first Patrick Ewing was the front-runner for the job, but that relationship ended in the final stages.
