Lakers Video: Kobe Bryant Speaks To Chargers At Training Camp
Kobe Bryant Is Receiving Film Advice From Steven Spielberg Among Others

Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant has embarked on his next journey in life, as he officially retired from basketball after the 2015-16 NBA season.

Bryant has made it very clear that storytelling is his new passion, as he has begun making a series of instructional videos for ESPN titled “Canvas.”

Storytelling is a career that makes sense for the 38-year-old, as he not only has an extensive knowledge of the game of basketball, but also just life in general.

He recently was able to share some of that knowledge, as he spoke to Los Angeles’ newest team, the Chargers, at their Training Camp in Costa Mesa, via the Chargers official Twitter account:

Some of the topics Bryant addressed in his speech were about not being afraid to fail, and staying in the “now.” Bryant mentioned how many shots he missed in his career, and how many times he was having bad shooting nights, but he still was not afraid to take the open shot if he had it.

He also told a classic Kobe Bryant anecdote from when he was high school about how paying attention in geometry class affected him on the basketball court when asked about how he stays in the moment.

The Chargers are set to begin their first season in Los Angeles after owner Alex Spanos decided to move the team from San Diego. The Chargers will play their first few seasons at the StubHub Center in Carson before moving to the new stadium that Los Angeles Rams owner Stan Kroenke is building in Inglewood.
