Los Angeles Lakers Vs. Brooklyn Nets Postgame (videos)

The Los Angeles Lakers beat the Brooklyn Nets, 125-118 on Tuesday night, behind 32 points from D’Angelo Russell and a triple-double from Julius Randle, but it wasn’t easy. Despite the stats, the Lakers held just a four-point lead with about a minute and a half remaining, and continued to fight until the clock ticked down.

The Lakers are now 7-5 with a record of 4-1 at home. To put that in perspective, last season fans would have had to wait another month a half to see their seventh Lakers win, which occurred on January 1 of last season. After the game, Julius Randle talks about what that means about the growth of this group.

Speaking of Randle, head coach Luke Walton speaks highly of Randle’s impressive performance, but it’s clear his expectations are even higher for his third-year forward. Walton also has big words to say about rookie Brandon Ingram, whom he decided to leave on the floor to close the game, instead of Luol Deng.

Jordan Clarkson talks about the success of the bench unit this season, despite having an off-night and how he strives to impact the game when he knows his shots aren’t falling (Clarkson finished the game with five steals). It’s all in our videos below.
