With just three games remaining in the 2015-2016 season, the Los Angeles Lakers pull into Houston for a Sunday afternoon meeting with the Rockets. The Lakers appear to be limping to the finish line while the Rockets are locked into a tight competition with the Utah Jazz for the final playoff spot in the West.
Of course, most of the attention will rightfully be on Kobe Bryant, who will be retiring following the end of the season on Wednesday. Bryant had a sometimes chilly relationship with Rockets big man Dwight Howard during his lone season in Los Angeles, and it’s going to be interesting to see how the two interact during their final meeting.
