For the second night in a row, the Los Angeles Lakers will meet the Los Angeles Clippers at STAPLES Center. Last night’s game didn’t go the way the Lakers hoped, and the Clippers largely had their way with their cross-town rivals.

Tonight the Lakers hope to get a little revenge and hope that the familiarity of their home floor helps in that endeavor. While the STAPLES Center is the same building on the exterior, inside it is fairly different when the Clippers are considered the “home” team.

The Clippers got out to a fast start last night with their colors on the floor, forcing the Lakers into turnovers and scoring in transition. If the Lakers hope to turn things around tonight they will need to play efficiently on the offensive end while employing stingy defense, two things they haven’t been known for this season.
