Magic Johnson Talks About Learning His Son, E.J., Was Gay

Magic JohnsonLos Angeles Lakers legend Magic Johnson has been in the public spotlight ever since his high school days and people have been following his life for decades.

Johnson has settled down with his wife and children, and is enjoying his time away from the basketball court. Johnson’s son, Earvin “E.J.” Johnson III, has been a big part of the Johnson family and that bond grew even stronger after the family found out E.J. was gay.

Johnson said he learned that his son was gay around the age of 12, but that did not hinder his relationship with E.J. whatsoever. As a true father figure, Johnson stuck by his son and reiterated that there will never be a time when he would stop loving him.

E.J. was initially unsure about how his parents would react to him being gay, but there is no doubt his mother and father will always remain by his side.
