Since it’s Mother’s Day, it seemed like an appropriate time to get a complete recap of the recent legal drama between Kobe and his mom, Pamela, over some memorabilia that was reportedly left in Pamela’s garage that she tried to sell.
It started off when Bryant filed a cease and desist against his mother, trying to prevent her from selling some of his old high school gear.

After that, Kobe tweeted his thoughts on the situation between himself and his mother, declaring that he felt betrayed by the actions of his mother.
The next step came when Kobe counter-sued the auction house that had his memorabilia, in an attempt to regain control of the gear his mother had given them.

Finally, a judge halted the sale of Kobe’s memorabilia, giving him the first victory in what is sure to be a long, drawn-out legal process.
So far, this is where we’re at in the Kobe feud. Considering Kobe is currently rehabbing from his torn Achilles, a legal battle with his mother probably isn’t what he wants to be dealing with. And for Mother’s Day, this isn’t exactly a heart-warming story. But knowing Bryant, he’ll find a way through this diversity just like he has done his entire career.
