Nike honors UConn’s 10th national championship with a Nike Kobe X design that comes in a gray-toned team Husky colorway, a ‘2015 Champs’ message on the inner tongue, as well as the No. 10 on the side of each shoe.

Coach Geno Auriemma joins former UCLA coach John Wooden as one of only two college basketball coaches with 10 championships. The Huskies, under coach Auriemma’s leadership have set their legacy as one of the most successful collegiate teams.

Coach Geno Auriemma’s achievements with the UConn women’s basketball team since taking over in 1985 include 16 Final Four appearances, 10 national championships with five undefeated campaigns.

Nike and Kobe Bryant honor and respect the achievements and the tradition:

The list of achievements are many, the impact of Coach Auriemna and his teachings will live on for generations to come. A winning legacy.

Nike’s official UConn celebratory T-shirt and apparel are available at Nike.com. The Nike Kobe X UConn is available now to customize on NikeiD.
