Poll Results: Andrew Bynum Voted Fans Player of the Week

On Facebook, we asked you fans to look back at the week for the Lakers without Kobe Bryant. We posed the question, “Who was the player of the week with Kobe on the bench” and the majority of you gave the nod to Andrew Bynum.

Andrew Bynum took home an impressive 2,692 votes with Metta World Peace at second place with 802 votes. Bynum was no doubt the best player on the Lakers without Kobe Bryant out and he has been making his case as the best center in the NBA.

In fact, Bynum just won the NBA’s Western Conference Player of the Week by averaging 21.8 points, 16.8 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game. That statistical dominance translated to wins as the Lakers went 4-0 during the week.
