Ron Artest Suspended For Game 3 Following Flagrant

As many people were anticipating, including Phil Jackson, Ron Artest will be suspended for tomorrow night’s Game 3 following his flagrant foul on J.J. Barea last night, according to NBC Sports.

The foul was upgraded to a flagrant two from the league office and will result in Artest’s dismissal from the team for Game 3.

How the Lakers will respond to the suspension is yet to be seen. Phil Jackson has not announced a replacement for Artest at this time.
