Today, for the first time since 1991, the Lakers will fly over to Europe and play some exhibition basketball. In ’91 the team landed in Paris, but in 2010 they will be heading over to London.  The team will spend five days in London and three days at Pau Gasol’s birth city, Barcelona.  While in Europe, the Lakers will play the Minnesota Timberwolves at the O2 Arena in London and Gasol’s former team FC Barcelona.  The team will also participate in various activities and will attend a Chelsea vs Arsenal soccer match.
