TWITTER: NBA Players Respond To Julius Randle’s Leg Injury

With just over 13 minutes under his belt in his NBA career, Julius Randle broke his leg on a drive to the basket in the fourth quarter of the Los Angeles Lakers loss to the Houston Rockets. The seventh overall pick has a bright future ahead of him, but this is not the way he would have liked to get started.

Randle was on the floor for a prolonged period of time as Lakers players and staff surrounded the 19 year old out of Kentucky. He was in obvious pain as trainer Gary Vitti talked to him trying to diagnose the situation. After being taken off of the court on a stretcher and his leg wrapped up in an air cast, Randle was taken to a Los Angeles hospital. The injury resulted in many NBA players reaching out to the young man via Twitter:
