While Kobe Bryant continues to recover from a torn rotator cuff that caused him to miss the second half of the 2014-15 NBA season, he remains busy with his business ventures and endorsement opportunities.
He recently met with Bleacher Report’s Lance Fresh to discuss the inspiration and design of his new signature watch from Hublot. In addition to speaking about the watch, Bryant discusses his two nicknames and how Vino and Black Mamba are intertwined with each other:
If I don’t get better with time, the Black Mamba is dead and gone.
At this point in his career, Bryant’s best days are behind him. He will be entering his 20th year in the league, but continues to evolve his game as his body ages.
The last two seasons saw two uncompetitive teams for the Los Angeles Lakers. The team’s front office currently is busy preparing for the NBA Draft and upcoming free agency in hopes of rebuilding the roster back into contention.[divide]
