Rookie forward Julius Randle has let it be known on more than one occasion that he’s been a Kobe Bryant fan for quite some time. Randle went as far as to find an old picture of himself sporting a Kobe jersey and posted it on Instagram to show the fans just how big a fan of the five-time NBA champion he has been.

With NBA Summer League underway, Randle has been the main attraction for Los Angeles Lakers fans in Las Vegas with everyone wanting to get a closer look at the player that might be the future face of the storied franchise.

While in Vegas with Kendall Marshall, fellow rookie Jordan Clarkson and the rest of the Summer League squad, Randle joined “The Starters” of NBA TV and fielded Kobe trivia questions to prove if he is truly a fan of the superstar guard.

Fortunately, Randle passed with flying colors, but got quite a bit of help from Lakers fans in the crowd behind him.
