In an anticipated matchup of NBA superstars, Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers hosted LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers on Thursday night.

While the two have struggled this season with injuries and fatigue, the two still draw hype when going against each other. The two teams went back and forth to a 49-49 draw with just under four minutes left in the half when the Cavaliers went on a fast break.

James passed to Kyrie Irving who lobbed it back to James for an alley-oop, only to see James miss the dunk. The Staples Center crowd cheered the mistake, while the camera showed Bryant laughing on his way back down the court. Bryant is seen smiling and talking to James, poking fun at the missed opportunity.

At the end of the half, the Lakers led 61-57.
