Lakers Nation, it’s time to meet Darius Johnson-Odom, the Lakers’ No. 55 pick in the 2012 draft (via cash trade with Dallas). The shooting guard out of Marquette will be looking to provide even more depth off the bench.
Besides showing Lakers Nation reporter Serena Winters the “L.A. Dougie,” the rookie already started calling out Dwight Howard.
“I’m a better dancer than Dwight.”
A word of advice Darius: I’d be careful calling out Howard, it sounds like he’s taking over the nicknaming power in the Lakers household.
The rookie also tells us about his middle name, Earvin, named after Lakers legend Magic Johnson, whom he has yet to meet.[jwplayer config=”lakersnation_player” file=”http://youtu.be/S-UioDFoZdc” autostart=”false”]
