Last night was another milestone night for Kobe Bryant against the Toronto Raptors. Most importantly, the Lakers were able to get their fourth victory over the season, but Kobe once again proved his greatness.

Finishing with 31 points, 11 rebounds and 12 assists, Kobe recorded his 20th career triple-double and became the oldest player to score 30 points in a triple-double in NBA history. Kobe also became the first player in NBA history to record 30,000 points and 6,000 assists.

Always one to give credit when it’s due, Nick Young had nothing but praise for Kobe afterwards, saying that Kobe has ‘potential’ in this video from NBC’s Shahan Ahmed. Young also joked that he would surpass Kobe, and score 46,000 points by his 20th season. Here is the video:

So far, Young has 5,952 career points 17 games into his eighth season in the NBA. In other words, he has a long ways to go if he plans on matching Kobe’s pace and surpassing him in another decade.
