The Los Angeles Lakers have been working hard ever since training camp began, and all eyes have been on the health and status of Kobe Bryant and Steve Nash. Both looked good in the Lakers’ preseason opener against the Denver Nuggets.

With the Lakers set to take on the Golden State Warriors tonight in their second preseason game, Ronnie Price is expected to get the start according to Lakers.com reporter Mike Trudell:

Expected starting line up: Ronnie Price (filling in for a resting Nash), Bryant, Johnson, Boozer and Hill.

Both Nash and Kobe have looked great so far, but Scott seems to be playing things pretty cautious with both future Hall of Famers. He has held them out of certain sections of practice during training camp, and limited both to about 20 minutes in the opener.

Scott understands that he doesn’t have to work either player extremely hard and since they are both in excellent physical condition, missing a few sprints won’t affect their ability to play big minutes if necessary.
