The Los Angeles Lakers were blown out by the Boston Celtics 113-96 in what was probably the worst loss of the season considering the opponent and margin of loss. Now that the team is 20 games into the season and playing terrible at 5-15, many are wondering when changes will be made to the lineup.

It now looks as if that time has come as Byron Scott revealed after the loss that there will be changes to the lineup before Sunday’s game on Time Warner Cable SportsNet via Lakers Nation reporter Serena Winters:

As Scott has said, the time has come to make changes, but he declined to say which changes he was thinking about making via Winters:

The three players who could possibly be moved out of the starting lineup are Jeremy Lin, Wesley Johnson and Carlos Boozer. Lin played well against the Celtics, but has been inconsistent so far and hasn’t clicked with Kobe Bryant.

Johnson and Boozer have also struggled, Boozer especially on defense, while Johnson has been unable to turn the corner and fulfill his vast potential on the court.

As for who could replace them, Ed Davis and Ronnie Price would be the likely replacements for Boozer and Lin respectively if Scott chose to go that route. If Johnson were to be moved, Nick Young and Wayne Ellington would be the logical choices to step into the starting lineup.
