VIDEO: Jeremy Lin, ‘DNP Will Kind Of Change Your Perspective’

Jeremy Lin had his first DNP-CD (did not play, coach’s decision) in the Lakers loss to the San Antonio Spurs Friday night. Before the Lakers game against the Houston Rockets on Sunday, Lin admitted the DNP was both “disappointing” and “discouraging,” but knew he had to keep his head up.

Lin played 28 minutes in the Lakers loss to Houston, finishing with 14 points, six assists and four turnovers.

I’m thankful I played tonight,” Lin said after the game. “Definitely a DNP will kind of change your perspective on things. I just tried to play my heart out.”

After the game, Lin also discusses whether playing time effects his confidence and whether he feels like he has to prove himself or state his case every time he steps on the floor. It’s all in our video above.
