After suffering another season-ending injury against the New Orleans Pelicans, there are questions if Father Time has defeated the 36-year-old. While Kobe acknowledges that he does not have the same physical ability he once had, he feels he can still dominate via Kobe Team:

To start the 2014-15 NBA season, Kobe showed he was able to score with the best of them, leading the league in scoring. However, the minutes and high usage rate ultimately took a toll on his body a quarter into the season and forced the five-time champion to rest.

After resting due to general soreness, head coach Byron Scott implemented a new plan which included playing Kobe less than 32 minutes while resting him when necessary. While it took Kobe out of rhythm, he became more of a facilitator and set a new career-high with 17 assists against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

In 35 games, Kobe averaged 22.3 points, 5.7 rebounds and 5.6 assists in his 19th NBA season.
