The Los Angeles Lakers matched their longest winning streak of the season with their third consecutive victory on Friday night, a 101-93 win over the Milwaukee Bucks. With six players scoring in double figures for Los Angeles and balanced and selfless ball distribution, the Lakers looked like a team that was trusting each other.

The ball is just moving really well and I think that’s important. It just flows, that’s how you make yourself tough to guard,” Jeremy Lin said after the win. “It’s just a product of trusting each other more.”

Jeremy Lin finished with 14 points, six assists and five rebounds in the Lakers win and head coach Byron Scott opted to go with Lin in crunch time, rather than the rookie Jordan Clarkson. After the game, Lin gave credit to Clarkson’s game, saying it was his performance through three quarters that enabled the Lakers to stay in this one.

After missing all six shots through three quarters, Wayne Ellington came through in the fourth quarter with 14 points. What did Lin notice about how Ellington handled his shooting struggles to start the game?

Nothing, that’s the great thing about it, you don’t see it. Next one’s going up and going in, that’s what shooters do.”

Despite the Lakers progress over the past three games, the Lakers face a tough opponent on Sunday afternoon as the Oklahoma City Thunder come to town.
