For all you Laker fans out there looking to add to your collection of purple and golf memorabilia this will be a wonderful opportunity. Some of the best pictures and stories concerning the Lakers and their extensive history in the city of Los Angeles have been documented in these books, and this is a great chance to own a piece of Laker history.

NBA Senior Photographer Andrew D. Bernstein and basketball Hall of Fame player and coach Bill Sharman will be autographing copies of Journey to the Ring: Behind the Scenes with the 2010 NBA champion Lakers and the Los Angeles Lakers: 50 Amazing Years in the City of Angels at the

Westside Pavilion Barnes & Noble bookstore | Saturday, February 26th, at 3 p.m.

10850 West Pico Blvd

Los Angeles, CA

The Journey to the Ring book recounts the Lakers 2009-10 championship run in the words of Coach Phil  Jackson along with the magnificent photos of Bernstein.  Lakers 50 Amazing Years recounts the Lakers’ first half century in the city of angels with stories from the Los Angeles Times sports staff and fantastic photos that give you a behind-the-scenes look at the Los Angeles Lakers.   Sharman was the head coach of the Lakers back in 1972 when they won their first NBA title in Los Angeles, and won 33 consecutive games along the way.
