Los Angeles Lakers Vs. Denver Nuggets Preseason Highlights
Lakers News: Jordan Clarkson Says He Was ‘playing Selfish’ In Loss To Pistons
Bill Streicher-USA TODAY Sports

The Los Angeles Lakers take on the Denver Nuggets in their second preseason game, hoping to start a winning streak after defeating the Sacramento Kings on Tuesday. The Lakers starting lineup will change due to a minor injury to Luol Deng, with veteran forward Metta World Peace stepping into his spot. D’Angelo Russell, Lou Williams, Julius Randle, and Timofey Mozgov will join World Peace in the starting five. Jordan Clarkson will continue to come off the bench, though Luke Walton has mentioned several times that lineups are not set in stone and he will continue to experiment throughout the preseason.

For the Nuggets, an injury to Gary Harris means that their starting lineup will be somewhat amended, with Will Barton and rookie Jamal Murray picking up much of the slack. This game will feature the latest chapter in the duel between D’Angelo Russell and Emanuel Mudiay, who were widely considered to be the top point guards of the 2015 NBA Draft class.
