Lakers Nation Wishes Happy Birthday to Rookie Darius Morris

Lakers Nation would like to take a minute to wish rookie Darius Morris a very happy birthday as he turns 21 today.

Morris was the 41st overall pick in the 2011 NBA Draft, as the Lakers selected him with their first pick in the second round. Morris spent two seasons with the Michigan Wolverines, where he still holds the records for most assists in a single season (235). Morris then declared himself eligible for the draft in 2011.

Morris hasn’t played as of yet in the regular season, but did make a strong impression during his pre-season performance against the Los Angeles Clippers.

So, a very happy birthday to Lakers guard Darius Morris!
