Lakers News: Kobe Bryant Makes Team USA Preliminary Roster

After leading Team USA to the Gold back in Beijing in the 2008 Olympics, Lakers’ superstar Kobe Bryant will be back in action this summer as a member of the United States men’s basketball team.

According to Chris Sheridan of SheridanHoops.com, Bryant has been selected with 18 other NBA players to join the preliminary roster.

Bryant is the only Lakers player on the list, but that doesn’t necessarily mean he will be the only Laker playing in the Olympics this summer.

Forward Pau Gasol will most likely be suiting up for his native Spain once again, after leading them to the Silver medal back in ’08.
