Nothing is going right for the Los Angeles Lakers and an MRI reveals that forward Jordan Hill be will out at least one week due to his hip injury.

Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports reports that Hill will be out at least week for the small muscle tear in his hip. The Lakers will have a depleted front court in these next couple of games as Hill, Dwight Howard and Pau Gasol will be sidelined due to injuries.

Lakers forward Jordan Hill will miss a minimum of a week with a small muscle tear in his hip, league source tells Y! Sports.

Hill underwent an MRI on Monday and that revealed the small muscle tear. Hill has been a great energy provider for the Lakers off the bench, and they will lose one of their best reserves due to this setback.

The Lakers need their other players to step up in Hill’s absence and most of that burden will likely fall on Antawn Jamison. Even though Jamison has not played a lot these past several games, coach Mike D’Antoni may finally give him a chance now that the Lakers are facing serious injuries.

In the Lakers’ next game, Tuesday night against the Houston Rockets, rookie Robert Sacre will get a starting role and Metta World Peace is expected to play more in the post.
