Two great moments happened at Staples Center on Tuesday night. First, in a triple-double effort from Kobe Bryant, the Lakers beat the Dallas Mavericks 101-82 to keep their playoff hopes alive, although are still trailing the Utah Jazz for the eighth seed.

Second, in a memorable moment at halftime, Shaquille O’Neal had his No. 34 jersey retired. Phil Jackson was also back in the Lakers house and sat up close next to fiance Jeanie Buss. As expected, “We Want Phil” chants echoed the walls as he stepped on to the court.

Kobe Bryant & Co. were inside the locker room at halftime during the ceremony, but that didn’t stop the attention surrounding Shaq and Phil Jackson from grabbing center stage.

From Kobe and Dwight’s praise for Earl Clark’s phenomenal game against the Mavericks, to Kobe admitting Phil Jackson was in the back of his mind tonight, to Dwight having some words of his own for Shaq. It’s all in our post-game videos below.
