Kobe Bryant Lakers Practice

After the 102-95 victory over the Golden State Warriors last night, the Los Angeles Lakers and Kobe Bryant returned to practice. With only one day rest before playing the Sacramento Kings at STAPLES Center tomorrow, the team had a very light practice.

After scoring 24 points, Pau Gasol said the four days off really helped the Lakers. It gave the team an opportunity to sharpen up their offense and defense:

Pau Gasol said the last 4 days LAL had between games really helped. Almost like a mini camp to sharpen up both offense and defense.

Dealing with general soreness on Thursday, Kobe Bryant returned to practice and participated in non-contact running and shooting drills before getting treatment:

Mike D’Antoni told me @kobebryant shot, ran, worked out on his own and then got treatment today. Team didn’t really do much.

With the Lakers not practicing again until December 3 due to the upcoming road trip, head coach Mike D’Antoni doesn’t see Bryant playing next week:

MDA says it would be hard for Kobe to play on next weeks trip.

Before the start of the season, many did not expect the Lakers to be 6-7 with the third toughest schedule in the NBA. Without Kobe Bryant, numerous players have stepped up in his absence and they have a great opportunity to get back to the .500 mark with a win against the Kings on Sunday night.
