VIDEO: Lakers Defeat Jazz To Take 3-0 Series Lead In 2010 Playoffs

After taking the first two games of the 2010 NBA Western Conference semifinals at home, the Los Angeles Lakers headed to Utah to try and take a commanding 3-0 series lead and get one step closer to advancing to the Western Conference finals.

A crazy fourth quarter headlined the Game 3 matchup and the Lakers emerged victorious, 111-110, to push the Jazz to the brink of elimination. The Lakers rode an 8-2 run in the final minute and watched a last-second shot by the Jazz bounce off the rim for the win. Kobe Bryant and Derek Fisher each hit a three-pointer in that last minute in a final quarter that saw 12 lead changes. The Jazz missed two shots in the final seconds that would have given them the lead and the victory.

Bryant led the way for the team with 35 points and seven assists, while Fisher and Metta World Peace added 20 points apiece in the effort. Pau Gasol finished with a double-double at 14 points and 17 rebounds.
