During a news conference before the 2014 NBA All-Star game, Kobe Bryant discussed numerous topics including his own NBA Mount Rushmore. While it was “impossible to do,” the five-time champion eventually picked his top-four players:

While Bryant has never spoken about his Mount Rushmore, he has mentioned all these players when discussing his all-time starting lineup. Unlike James, Kobe has never mentioned himself in these types of conversations and seems more focused on finishing the final two years of his career.

When it’s all said and done, Kobe will go down as one of the greatest to ever play this game. While there will be continued debates on where Bryant should be on the NBA’s Mount Rushmore, his accomplishments over these 17 seasons are extremely rare and basketball fans should appreciate what he has done for the game.
