One player that worked out for the Lakers and may fall to the team in draft with the seventh pick is Arizona’s Aaron Gordon.

Gordon is a big fan of the storied franchise and superstar Kobe Bryant. Gordon said the following about the five-time NBA champion following his workout with the team, according to Lakers Nation’s Serena Winters:

There’s been no clear indication of what the Lakers want to do with the seventh pick in the upcoming draft. The team is exploring all options, including trading the pick, and could ultimately roll the dice on the athletic forward come June 26.

Plenty of other notable draft prospects also worked out for the Lakers on Wednesday that will likely get consideration from the team on draft day. Noah Vonleh (Indiana), Tyler Ennis (Syracuse), Marcus Smart (Oklahoma State) and Zach LaVine (UCLA) all made appearances at the Lakers practice facility and all these prospects could be available once the Lakers are on the clock.

Last season, Gordon averaged 12.4 points and 8.0 rebounds per game while shooting 49.5 percent from the floor for the Wildcats.
