Carlos Boozer is known for his work in the post and on the backboards. Now he’s also looking to be known for his work in the studio.

Boozer will be teaming with a number of other NBA stars and rappers for a collaborative album entitled Full Court Press Vol. 1.

According to the trailer, the album will include tracks from players such as Stephen Jackson, Lou Williams, and Shawn Marion while also featuring well-known rappers such as Trina, T-Pain, and Twista.

The NBA and hip-hop have long been connected as rappers have continually been seen at games and vice versa. Many NBA stars, past and present, have dropped albums or even started their own record labels. Guys like Kevin Durant and Allen Iverson being more recent.

Boozer wouldn’t be the first Laker to be involved in rap. Fans everywhere remember Shaquille O’Neal’s debut album ‘Shaq Diesel’ is certified platinum. Kobe Bryant also had an ill-fated step into the hip-hop realm with his album ‘Visions’ and first single, K.O.B.E.
