The D-Fenders have already lost three players to the NBA in Ryan Kelly, Malcolm Thomas, and Manny Harris. Despite the considerable losses, particularly the offensive firepower of those players, the D-Fenders keep plugging in guys to step up. The latest is Terrence Williams.

Williams, a lottery pick of the former New Jersey Nets in 2009, poured in a D-League career high 39 points to lead the D-Fenders to a 118-111 victory over the Reno Bighorns.

The D-Fenders led by as many as 18 points in the game and by as many as 11 in the second half, but were unable to maintain that advantage. While they never trailed throughout the game, Reno was able to tie the game on two separate occasions in the fourth quarter. Clutch shooting by the D-Fenders insured that they would walk away with the win.

Josh Magette added 17 points and James Southerland posted a double-double with 10 points and 12 rebound to help the D-Fenders improve to 12-10. Both teams struggled to shoot the ball, especially from three-point range, but the D-Fenders were able to take care of the ball. They turned it over only seven times while forcing 18 Reno turnovers.
