On Thursday, the NBA D-League announced their 2013-2014 All-NBA D-League selections, and two members of the Los Angeles D-Fenders were selected. Terrence Williams, who has earned the D-League Performer of the Month honors, was earned third team honors. James Southerland was named to the D-League Rookie second team.

Both players were integral to the D-Fenders success this year and have bright futures after their impressive seasons. Williams becomes the fourth D-Fender in franchise history to be names to the third team, and Southerland is the first player in franchise history to be name to the Rookie second team.

The D-Fenders finished an impressive 31-19 on the season, but were unfortunately swept in the first round of the playoffs by the Santa Cruz Warriors. Although they were not able to bring the championship trophy to El Segundo, the team saw much success in the fact that they had a handful players called up to the NBA over the course of this season including Malcolm Thomas and Manny Harris.
