The Lakers were involved in a tough Western Conference Semi-Final series with the San Antonio Spurs. With the series tied 2-2, the winner of Game 5 would have a huge advantage in the series.

The game itself was ugly and low-scoring. The Lakers held a one point lead with 5.4 seconds when Tim Duncan hit a miraculous shot over Shaquille O’Neal to send the Spurs crowd into a frenzy.

But Duncan left just enough time on the clock for Derek Fisher to save the day.

With only 0.4 seconds left, Gary Payton inbounded the ball to Fisher who turned and put up a shot that swished through the net and silenced everyone in attendance. To make the moment even better, Fisher didn’t celebrate, he simply ran off the court with his hand raised.

It is a moment that will live on, not only in Lakers history, but NBA history. Derek Fisher’s 0.4 shot is one of the greatest of all-time.
