While the Los Angeles Lakers are looking to put together a successful offseason, Luka Doncic has been spending the summer in Slovenia in order to be with his two daughters. That decision coincided with Doncic withdrawing from being part of the Team Slovenia roster for their FIBA World Cup qualifying games.
Amid recently being cleared for full activities as part of his offseason training, Doncic spent the past handful of days headlining a Jordan Brand tour that featured stops in Madrid, Spain; Ljubljana, Slovenia; and Belgrade, Serbia.

While in Madrid, Doncic visited a consumer and content creator connect at Basketball Emotion, and spoke with local children and signed autographs. Doncic of course once starred for famed Spanish club Real Madrid from 2015-18. During that time he garnered a number of accolades, helped lead the team to three Liga ACB Championships, and the 2018 EuroLeague Championship of which he was named MVP.

Doncic’s next stop on his Jordan Brand European tour was to his hometown of Ljubljana in Slovenia. There, the Lakers superstar spent the day connecting with kids and fans, including a visit to Airdom Basketball Store, where Doncic answered questions while playing basketball with local youth. He then went to Stožice Arena for a kids camp.

On the final stop of the Jordan Brand tour, Doncic made his way to Belgrade, where he was welcomed by a huge crowd and “MVP” chants at the Galerija Mall. Doncic made an appearance at the DunkShop’s rooftop court before going inside to the Nike store for a meet-and-greet.
After that he went to Luka camp at Luka’s court in Ljubljana, and ended the day at The One Belgrade to watch the finals competition.
Luka Doncic Jordan Brand athlete
Doncic originally signed with Jordan Brand in December 2019 on a five-year deal. Then in August 2023, Doncic reached an extension on his endorsement deal with Jordan Brand that now runs through 2029. That happens to coincide with Doncic’s Lakers contract, though the 2028-29 season is a player option.
Doncic is currently on the fifth iteration of a signature shoe with Jordan.
