The Los Angeles Lakers suffered a major loss in training camp with Nick Young going down with a torn ligament in his shooting hand. Young injured his hand while guarding Kobe Bryant in a scrimmage at the practice facility in El Segundo.

As a result of the injury, Young had to undergo surgery on his right hand. The Lakers sixth man will likely miss the first month of the season as he recovers, but he’s already making progress.
