The Journey to the Ring book recounts the Lakers 2009-10 championship run in the words of Coach Phil  Jackson along with the magnificent photos of Bernstein.  Lakers 50 Amazing Years recounts the Lakers’ first half century in the city of angels with stories from the Los Angeles Times sports staff and fantastic photos that give you a behind-the-scenes look at the Los Angeles Lakers.   Sharman was the head coach of the Lakers back in 1972 when they won their first NBA title in Los Angeles, and won 33 consecutive games along the way.
