On January 13, Kobe Bryant and Bill Clinton will host a panel on kids and sports. The panel will be held in La Quinta, Calif., and will be aired on ESPN in February. Bryant says that the panel will concentrate on the benefits of health and leadership, according to ESPN.

“It’s a really important initiative for kids to understand that you’re not just getting the benefits of being healthy, you’re also understanding how to be great leaders, how to be unselfish, how to work within a group, competitive spirit.”

The event will be sponsored by the Clinton Foundation, ESPN, the Aspen Institute and Nike’s Access to Sport Initiative. The topics of discussion will include coaching, health and safety.

It does not say what Clinton’s involvement will be for the panel, but he is expected to be a part of the discussion.
