Kobe Bryant is certainly no stranger to the NBA Finals. In his 19 year career, he took the trip to the championship round seven times while winning five titles. It has been five years since Bryant last had a chance for another title, but that won’t ever stop Bryant from sharing his opinions on the event.

In addition to appearing on Chinese media outlet Sina for both their pregame and postgame live stream of Game 3, Bryant also took to his Twitter to offer some insight and analysis. In responding to a comment comparing LeBron James to Kobe Bryant, the Laker approved of James’ aggressive manner:

Can't win a shootout with a butter knife #letitfly https://t.co/57zWQzqsfg

Bryant also praised the Cleveland Cavaliers as a whole by noting their increased effort:

Cavs playing as if their life is on the line G.S playing as if they have more #NBAFinals down the line #ThisIsNOW #competitionIsEverything

— Kobe Bryant (@kobebryant) June 10, 2015

If anyone would know the pressures that come with playing in the NBA Finals, it would be Bryant. Over his career, he has helped the Los Angeles Lakers win time and time again with numerous tough, clutch shots. James has been forced to take on the scoring load for his team after losing Kevin Love in the first round and Kyrie Irving in Game 1 of the NBA Finals.

This year’s Finals have been an entertaining one through the first three games. The first two went into overtime with the two teams each taking one game. During Game 3, it looked like the Cavaliers were going to run away with a victory. The Golden State Warriors fought back from a 20 point deficit to make it a close game into the final seconds, but still ended up on the losing end.
