Five-time NBA champion Kobe Bryant recorded the 21st triple-double of his career on Tuesday night with the Los Angeles Lakers coming out on top against the Denver Nuggets at the Pepsi Center.

With 23 points, 11 assists and 11 rebounds, Bryant helped lead the team to victory on the road with a style of play that appears to be working for the veteran guard. The facilitator role has been a tough transition, but Kobe admits it is time to evolve his game, via Lakers Nation reporter Serena Winters:

Kobe Bryant: "I've got to evolve, focus more on the all around stuff & setting up guys." (on TWC)

Kobe continued to talk about playing a different role and improving in different areas, via Winters:

Kobe also said knows he needs to "make adjustments," says it's time to "perfect another area."

Bryant still led the way offensively on Tuesday night with 23 points, but four other Lakers scored in double figures. Carlos Boozer scored 19 points off the bench followed by Ronnie Price (18), Wesley Johnson (16) and Jordan Hill (12).

It’ll be interesting to see if Bryant can continue to play a facilitator role rather than the dominant scorer of old. The transition to a more pass-first approach hasn’t been seamless by any means with Kobe still committing a lot of turnovers, but the team definitely seems to benefit with Bryant the passer.
