Kobe Bryant Receives Western Conference Player Of The Month Award

Kobe Bryant was recognized as the NBA Western Conference Player of the Month for his performance during the month of February.

During the 28-day month, Bryant averaged 23.9 points, 6.6 assists and 6.7 rebounds in route to helping the Lakers to a 9-4 record. The Lakers began February with a record of 20-26. They entered March with a record of 29-30, and two games out of the 8-seed.

In the month Kobe also reached the 40-point mark for the 117th time in his career in a win against Portland. This is the 17th time in Kobe’s career he has won this award.

Per the Lakers Instagram account, Kobe Bryant received the Western Conference Player of the Month Award before tonights game.
