Lakers Injury Update: Steve Nash Gets Treatment, Probable For Tomorrow

The health of Steve Nash is a touchy subject at this time. Nash has played well since returning to the floor last Tuesday, but with the slew of injuries hitting the Lakers this season and Nash’s issues since joining the team, it makes sense for everyone to be worried when he gets hurt.

After leaving yesterday’s game against the Chicago Bulls, all indications seemed to be that it was a minor injury Nash suffered.

This turned out to be the case as Lakers Nation reporter Serena Winters reports that Nash was at practice, though he did not practice fully with the team:

Steve Nash did not practice fully with the team today. Mostly shooting on his own & therapy.

This is good news for a Lakers team that has played reasonably well since the return of Nash and fellow point guard Steve Blake. The team has gone 2-2 since he returned and been relatively competitive in their two losses.

With a day to practice and get treatment, it seems likely that Nash will be able to suit up tomorrow against the Utah Jazz in a battle of struggling teams, and the Lakers are listing him as probable:

Since returning from injury, Nash is averaging 11 points and five assists in three games.
