Topic: We wonder which Lakers player is most likely to breakout in the 2014-15 regular season?

Context: The Los Angeles Lakers have a long road ahead of them if they plan on making the playoffs in this upcoming season. Kobe Bryant will obviously be extremely important to the Lakers success, but he can’t do it alone.

This Lakers roster isn’t exactly full of people who have proven to be high-level players on playoff teams, so if the Lakers expect to make a run, it’s gonna take someone to make a leap to a level they haven’t yet shown. And the Lakers are full of players capable of making that leap.

Jordan Hill will be a full-time starter for the first time in his career. He can finally show that he is capable of providing that energy for 30 minutes a game every night. Fellow big man Ed Davis is just hoping to get consistent minutes to prove he can live up to his considerable potential.

The wing position is full of players who could potentially have career seasons. Wesley Johnson seems likely to start and with a new coach and Kobe Bryant right next to him, which could propel him to new heights. Xavier Henry showed flashes last year, but he just couldn’t stay healthy.

Nick Young now has a new contract, and a lot of pressure on him as a Sixth Man of the Year candidate. Even Jeremy Lin at point guard can prove that he is a starter at the NBA level. Needless to say, there are no shortage of potential breakout players on this roster. But who is most likely to do it?

Verdict: We went to Twitter to ask our loyal followers which Lakers player they feel is most likely to breakout in the 2014-15 season. These are some of the responses:
